Fibre discs 782C

Developed for fast stock removal on mild steel, the 3M™ 782C fibre disc is characterised by exceptional cutting properties, durability and easy handling. The performance of these discs represents a major advance over conventional fibre discs. Thanks to the advanced abrasive technology, this fibre disc is an excellent choice for demanding applications such as weld removal, veneering and surface finishing.

These fibre discs contain precision-formed abrasive grains to optimise both speed of use and durability in mild steel processing. The construction of the disc with a stiff fibre backing and a strong resin bond ensures durability and tear resistance, so that more parts can be processed per disc and fewer overall disc changes are required when combined with a fast cutting abrasive grain. Normally thermally conductive structural steels, forged steels and non-ferrous metals are all processed economically with the 3M™ fibre disc 782C in grit sizes 36+, 60+ and 80+.
